Prom Bring It wins a 2012 Purple Dress Award
DonateMyDress.org and Always have awarded Hermitage's Prom Bring It with a 2012 Purple Dress Award.  Prom Bring It was one of only five organizations across the country to win this $5000 award.  The money will be used to dry clean, mend and distribute Prom formal wear so that every student has the opportunity to go to their Senior Prom and have a special memory to cherish for a lifetime.  Many thanks to Jenny High and all of the Prom Bring It volunteers who worked so hard this year to collect over 1000 dresses.  Over 400 dresses have already been distributed.

Panthianette:  There is a new issue out of the Hermitage school newspaper, the Panthianette.  Go check it out!  Click here:  The Panthianette.

Hermitage Football Fundraiser: The Hermitage Panther Football team is participating in a coffee sales fundraiser. Order yours from the football team now by clicking on this link: Panther Football Coffee Sale.

Henrico Federal Credit Union at Hermitage High School

With almost 20,000 members around the world, Henrico FCU is proud to have served the Henrico Community since 1967.  HFCU opened a branch at Hermitage to 1) work cooperatively with educators and parents in developing financially responsible young adults, 2)to give student employees "real world" learning experiences, and 3) to help students develop strong money management experience right in their school, where it's convenient.

The Panther Branch is open everyday before school and during lunch.  Students can open accounts, make deposits and withdrawals, and even apply for a loan.  They can open a savings account with a $5 minimum deposit and with parental permission (if under 18), they can open up a checking account and get a VISA Debit Card with a minimum $15 deposit.  These special accounts can help students build a sound credit history while learning how to responsibly manage their own money.

Don't delay, have your child stop by today to open a HFCU Account and be on the way to a financially sound future!
